My favorite stamping site, PTI, is having their 4th Anniversary Celebration this month. Today's Make It Monday challenge was to make a card that uses a common sentiment stamped multiple times, somewhat like a collage effect. Sounded fun so I decided to play along. So, after dusting off the old blog and blowing the cobwebs out of the corners, here's the card that I came up with. This is definitely a technique that I will be using again because the card came together easily & it feels good to use all of those stamp sets! The awesome flower was a gift from my sweet sister.
Supplies:
Stamps - Butterfly Dreams, Up Up & Away, Delightful Dahlia, Fillable Frames #4, Cupcake Collection, Giga Guidelines, Mat Stack 1 Collection, Communique Sentiments
Paper - Sweet Blush, Vintage Cream, Enchanted Evening, In Bloom (all PTI)
Ink - Enchanted Evening
Ribbon - Sweet Blush twill
Dies - Banner Borders
Just nosing around to see what people are doing with the new challenge at Papertrey. Thought this looked pretty in the thumbnail, and it certainly IS!! Love the colors, layout and pretty, soft embellishment!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Gosh, your sister is just super swell to share something like that. :) I really like your use of the banner die!
ReplyDeleteGreat design!
ReplyDeleteGreat color combo! Will have to try this one out. And your sister did a beautiful job with the flower. What did she use? I think I'm going to like all the inspiration from the 'Make It Mondays'!
